PrintKwik Trip, RaceTrac Named National Top Workplaces

EXTON, Pa. -- Kwik Trip and RaceTrac convenience store chains are among America's Top Workplaces, according to WorkplaceDynamics' annual list of the 150 best places to work. La Crosse, Wis.- based Kwik Trip Inc. ranked No. 21 on this year's list, while Atlanta-based RaceTrac Petroleum Inc. ranked No. 114.

"We could not be more thrilled to learn that RaceTrac has been recognized as one of the top workplaces in our country," stated RaceTrac CEO Allison Moran. "We strive to make people’s lives simpler and more enjoyable, and we’re honored that our team members feel like we are living our mission and that our people enjoy what they do. Our team members are our competitive advantage and it is humbling to know that they value our efforts in investing in their growth and are happy to be a part of the RaceTrac family."

WorkplaceDynamics worked with 30 publishing partners to poll more than a million employees from 872 large companies in order to compile a definitive list of 150 Top Workplaces with 1,000 employees or more, according to its website. The companies were selected based on feedback gathered through an objective employee survey using a proprietary set of questions.

The Top Workplaces list was first compiled in 2006, based on WorkplaceDynamics' belief that "The most successful companies are the ones that employees believe in," according to the company. It also compiles lists of the top workplaces by region in partnership with 37 leading publishers in the U.S.
