Rutter's Gives Customers 512 Mac and Cheese Options

PrintRutter's Gives Customers 512 Mac and Cheese Options

YORK, Pa. -- Rutter's Farm Stores added the American favorite, macaroni and cheese, to its menu. The convenience store chain is not just offering customers one variety of the classic comfort food, but rather 512 options when all the variations of toppings and meaty additions are tallied.

Diners can choose from bacon, meatballs, hot dogs, sloppy joe, chili, steak or taco meat to add to their macaroni and cheese. In addition, any and all of Rutter's extra toppings are available to mix in, including sautéed onions, jalapeno peppers, black olives, marinara sauce and salsa.

"We pride ourselves on the depth of our menu offering, but we also love to give our customers lots and lots of choices," said Jerry Weiner, Rutter's vice president of foodservice. "We believe variety and the ability to make everything on our menu just the way they like it are what keeps them coming back."

Rutter's Mac and Cheese comes in two sizes: the large dish as a main course or a small portion that can be added as a side in a combo meal with a sandwich, or to a kids' meal.

Rutter's Farm Stores operates 56 convenience stores throughout south central Pennsylvania.
